The variety belongs to the group of turf-type tall fescue. It is intended for creating high-quality lawns in areas with intensive use and traffic.

The plant possesses resistance to trampling. An improved breeding version of the variety, known as Regiment II, has the ability to form rhizomes, which contributes to better regeneration of the turf cover.
