Resolute II is a Mediterranean-type plant variety exhibiting activity during the winter period. It was developed through two cycles of recurrent selection from the variety Resolute, which, in turn, is based on the Australian variety Melik.
The plant possesses increased establishment, which is often achieved through the use of the MaxP (AR542) endophyte. The variety is used as a pasture crop in dairy farming and is considered an alternative to perennial ryegrass.
