The variety Rhambler (also Rhambler SRP or Rhambler 2 SRP) belongs to the turf-type tall fescue category. Its key feature is the ability to spread vegetatively through the formation of short rhizomes, which contributes to rapid recovery after trampling and mechanical damage.
The plant has a dark green color and fine leaf texture, visually approaching the characteristics of Kentucky bluegrass. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to brown rust, as well as good drought tolerance and shade tolerance.
It is used for the creation of sports lawns, park areas, and landscaping, and is also used in the production of sod. Height parameters depend on the mowing intensity, allowing for a mowing height of 2 to 4 cm.
