Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is intended for the establishment of perennial grasslands, hayfields, and pastures. It is characterized by slow initial development and rooting. In the first year, the yield of the first cut is lower than that of meadow fescue; however, in the second and third years, the total dry matter yield is higher due to active regrowth of subsequent cuts.

The plant possesses high adaptability to the northern climate and good winter hardiness, successfully overwintering where other varieties are susceptible to winter kill. The variety is free of endophytic fungi and requires a vernalization process to transition to flowering.
