The variety is the result of breeding work based on a fertile triploid fescue and ryegrass hybrid. The variety belongs to the late-maturing group; inflorescence emergence occurs in mid-June.
The plant possesses good resistance to leaf rust and leaf spot with average winter hardiness. The variety develops well on mineral soils and is distinguished by an increased carbohydrate content, which makes it suitable for establishing swards in pure stands or in mixtures with clover.
