The Sulino variety is an amphidiploid form of Festulolium braunii. It was obtained by crossing Festuca pratensis and Lolium multiflorum. The plant is characterized by a tetraploid chromosome set.
Used as a forage crop for hay, silage, and green mass production, suitable for cultivation as a pure stand or in grass mixtures. The variety is distinguished by high green mass and dry matter yields, exceeding the performance of meadow fescue.
The plant possesses good tolerance to stress factors, including drought, and is characterized by high nutritional value and digestibility for animals.
