The Sabik variety is a hexaploid (6n) intergeneric hybrid that combines fescue properties, such as resistance and longevity, with ryegrass qualities, ensuring high nutritional value and feed quality. The plant is oriented toward pasture use.

During trials, the variety is evaluated based on spring growth rate, stand density, plant height, and regrowth density after cutting. The variety's properties may vary depending on the specific fescue and ryegrass species used in breeding.
