The variety was obtained by interspecific hybridization of Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum ssp. italicum) and meadow fescue (Festuca pratensis). The plant is a tetraploid hybrid, with a height reaching 80–90 cm. The variety belongs to the mid-early group.
Dry matteryield is about 12.2 t/ha, seed productivity is 690 kg/ha. Leafiness in the heading phase reaches 64.9%, crude protein content in dry matter varies from 10.4 to 15.1%. The variety possesses above-average winter hardiness and high disease tolerance.
Intended for creating pastures, hay harvesting, and haylage production. Combines the nutritional value and growth intensity of ryegrass with the resistance and longevity of fescue.
