The variety belongs to the category of short-lived perennial plants. During development, the variety begins growth slower than Italian ryegrass, however, it possesses the ability for active recovery in the second half of the year, maintaining a vegetative state for longer.
The plant is distinguished by high persistence under conditions of high temperatures and moisture deficit, combining forage quality with increased hardiness. It is also known under the experimental code name Exp. F 15.
The crop is intended for pasture establishment and is often used in mixtures with legumes, such as alfalfa and clover. Grazing is recommended when the stand reaches a height of 25–30 cm, leaving 4–6 cm of residue, as well as the application of nitrogen fertilizers after each mowing.
