The variety is a perennial grass obtained through the hybridization of meadow fescue with tetraploid ryegrass. The plant forms a powerful, deep root system and is characterized by rapid germination and active initial growth.
The plant possesses high resistance to low temperatures, heat, and drought, and is also characterized by excellent disease resistance. Forage value includes a crude protein content of 10% and an average total digestible nutrients (TDN) level of 67%.
The crop is used for livestock grazing, hay, and silage production. It can be sown either as a monoculture or in grass mixtures, including with legumes. Dry matter yield varies from 5 to 9 tons per acre.
