The tree is characterized by very vigorous growth and forms a large rounded crown. The variety is characterized by two harvests: the breba crop begins to ripen around June 20, and the second crop begins from mid-August; both fruiting periods last about 15 days.

The fruits belong to the "white" type with light-colored skin. The fruits of the first harvest are large, averaging about 85 g, juicy, with a light aroma. The fruits of the second harvest are usually smaller. The produce has low sensitivity to fermentation and is suitable for fresh consumption, drying, and processing into jams.

The variety is native to the Slovenian Istria region and is known by the synonyms Škofjotka, Škofjoti, Škofjotarca, Ognifolio, Petrovača bijela.
