The BIZZARRIA DI SORI variety, also known as Panache, is a vigorous woody plant reaching 3.5–4 meters in height in the open field. It is a late-ripening variety, the main crop of which matures in the period from August to October, requiring a long and warm growing season.

The fruits are distinguished by recognizable striped green-yellow skin and strawberry-red flesh with a sweet berry flavor. The variety is self-fertile, possesses drought tolerance and high resistance to diseases and pests, although it can be a carrier of fig mosaic virus.

The plant is used as universal for fresh consumption, drying, and canning, and is also grown as an ornamental. When grown in regions with short or cool summers, the fruits may not have time to fully ripen.
