ActiveFicus carica L. · Common fig
Plattner Anton
10 August 2026
The variety is characterized as two-crop: the first breba crop ripens in June-July, the autumn crop from August to October. The plant has medium vigor, reaching 2–3 m in height in temperate climates, and is well-suited for shaping and container cultivation. Leaves can be either entire or deeply lobed.
The fruits are pear-shaped or teardrop-shaped with dark purple, almost black skin. The fruit weight is 30–50 grams. The flesh is distinguished by a dark red color, sweetness, and a characteristic aroma with berry or plum notes. The variety is self-fertile, resistant to high humidity, and is considered relatively winter-hardy.
