Violetta
ActiveFicus carica L. · Common fig
Plattner Anton
10 August 2026
The plant is distinguished by the presence of thin branches and large 5-lobed leaves. The variety is capable of forming an abundant breba crop — the first crop developing on last year's wood.
The fruits of the second crop have a spherical shape, a very short peduncle, green skin, and red flesh with numerous large seeds. The fruit formation process of the second crop requires caprification.
