The Renyeca variety, also known as Renyac or Rignac, is a local fig variety cultivated in the Balearic Islands. The plant is of the common type, which does not require pollination by blastophaga wasps for fruit set.
The variety is uniferous, meaning it produces one harvest per season with fruits ripening in autumn. The fruits are distinguished by an intense black skin color with a reddish-purple hue and have a small mass of approximately 22 grams.
