Variety description

10 August 2026

The Bordissot Blanca-Rimada variety, also known by the synonym Sabanita, is a mid-late fig of Spanish origin from the Balearic Islands. In the professional community, it is often considered an analogue of the Panache variety.

The fruits are large and stand out for their decorative coloration: intense green stripes persist against a green or yellowish background. The flesh is sweet, with berry notes and a possible slight acidity. The plant is medium-sized and well-suited for container culture.

For the fruits to ripen fully, the variety requires a long growing season and a sufficient amount of heat. Its primary use is for fresh consumption.
