The variety was selected in Denmark and named after the Røsnæs peninsula. The tree is capable of reaching a height of 3 to 5 meters, in some cases up to 7 meters, and tolerates pruning well. The plant is characterized as robust, possesses good cold hardiness, and is suitable for cultivation in both open ground and containers.

Fruits ripen in the period from August to October. They have purple-red flesh and edible skin; the taste is described as sweet with hints of berries, peach, and brown sugar. The variety is self-fertile and is used for harvesting fresh or dried fruits.
