The variety belongs to the common fig category, which does not require pollination. The plant is vigorous, reaching 2.5–4.5 meters at maturity. The variety possesses high winter hardiness, withstands frosts down to -18°C, and is capable of recovery after damage to the above-ground part.

The fruits have an elongated shape with a neck and a semi-closed eye. The skin color varies from reddish-brown to almost black depending on light exposure. The pulp is colored deep red and has a sweet taste with pronounced berry notes and a light acidity.
