Plants of the Panon variety have moderately strong to strong growth; the bush is medium-compact, bushy-flattened, with abundant foliage. Leaves are intensely green with medium-strong gloss, varying in shape from strongly to slightly concave.
The variety is characterized by high resistance to freezing and gray mold. Plants are slightly susceptible to powdery mildew, white leaf spot, and Verticillium wilt, with medium susceptibility to red leaf spot.
Fruit is large, heart-shaped or bushy-conical, orange-red in color with strong gloss and sunken achenes. Flesh is intensely red; vitamin C content is about 90.3 mg/100 g, and sugars are about 8.9%.
