The medium-sized plant has an upright habit and an open structure, which simplifies maintenance and harvesting. Long flower stalks are held above the leaf level, due to which the berries have less contact with the soil, however, in conditions of extreme heat, the fruits are at risk of sunburn.
The berries have an intensely red color with a glossy sheen, the average fruit weight is 22–28 g, reaching 40 g. The taste is balanced, sweet with a slight acidity and pronounced aroma. The variety shows high resistance to powdery mildew and Phytophthora.
Parlando is a universal variety suitable for cultivation in open field, plastic tunnels, or on substrate. The high firmness of the berries allows the variety to be successfully used for long-distance transport and sales through large retail chains.
