Variety description

The variety is a densely branched shrub with an upright growth habit. At ten years of age, it reaches a height of 2.0–3.0 meters and a width of 1.2–2.0 meters. Flowering occurs late, starting closer to September and continuing until October.

The flowers are large, double, purple-violet in color, and resemble pom-poms or carnation inflorescences in shape. The plant is sterile, does not produce fruit or seeds, which allows it to maintain its ornamental qualities for longer.

The variety is characterized by frost resistance down to -20 °C, resistance to Sclerotinia, and tolerance to drought and calcareous soils. It may be affected by aphids, scale insects, or powdery mildew under unfavorable growing conditions.
