The variety forms an upright shrub, reaching a height of up to 3 meters at the age of 10 years. Large flowers with a diameter of more than 10 cm have a semi-double anemone-like shape and are colored carmine-pink with a pronounced cherry or red center. The plant's foliage is green.
The plant is late-flowering and is characterized by profuse blooming, which continues from June to October. The variety is resistant to calcareous soils and drought conditions, and withstands temperature drops down to -25°C. To maintain appearance and stimulate flowering, severe pruning is recommended at the end of winter.
In commercial circulation, the variety is known under the trade names Eruption and Tahiti. The plant is used in landscape compositions as a specimen plant and produces almost no seed pods.
