The plant is a well-branched deciduous shrub about 2.5 meters high. It is an improved version of the Leopoldii variety and is characterized by vigorous growth.
The flowers are large, double, externally resembling carnations or pompoms, white with pink speckles. The plant is sterile and does not form seed pods, which allows it to direct resources toward flower formation.
The flowering period falls in the summer-autumn season from July to October. The shrub prefers sunny locations, tolerates calcareous and dry soils well with sufficient moisture, and requires minimal pruning.
