The plant is an upright shrub 1.5–2.5 m tall and 1–2 m wide. It has green foliage that drops during the winter period. The flowers are simple, funnel-shaped with wavy petals, reach about 8 cm in diameter, and are pink in color.
Flowering occurs in the summer-autumn period. The variety withstands frosts down to -20° C and prefers sunny sites. To maintain abundant flowering, spring pruning leaving 3–5 buds and mulching of the tree trunk circle are recommended.
Used in landscape design as a solitary plant, for creating group plantings, or for growing in containers.
