The variety is a shrub with vigorous upright growth, reaching a height of about 2 meters with a crown width of 1.2–1.5 meters. The flowers are double, dark red in shade, visually resembling pom-poms or carnation flowers.
The plant belongs to late-flowering varieties; the flowering period lasts from August to September-October. The variety is sterile and does not form seed pods. It has good adaptability and winter hardiness down to zone 5, although in regions with severe climates, covering or container cultivation is recommended.
