The plant is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with an upright, vase-shaped crown form. The height is usually from 1.5 to 2.4 meters, in some cases reaching 3 meters with a width of up to 2 meters. The foliage is medium-green, palmately divided, three-lobed, with serrated margins.
The flowers are large, blue in color with a red-purple center. The variety is characterized by late leafing in spring and a summer flowering period that can continue until autumn. The plant possesses high tolerance to summer heat, humidity, and urban conditions.
The shrub may be susceptible to leaf spot, rust, and canker. It is used in landscape design for solitary plantings, forming hedges, or placement near building foundations.
