The plant reaches a height of 1.8 to 3.0 meters and has dark green palmate leaves that turn a yellowish hue in the autumn. The flowers are of the anemone type due to the characteristic lacy double center.
Flowering continues from early summer to autumn. The variety is characterized by its tolerance to urban conditions, soil salinity, sea winds, and deer. Winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zones 5–9, which allows it to withstand temperatures down to -29 °C.
It is used in landscape design as a specimen plant, for creating hedges, mixed borders, and for container cultivation. The variety is considered low-maintenance, but there is a risk of fungal infections in conditions of excess moisture.
