The plant reaches a height of 1.5 to 3 meters and a width of 1.2 to 2.1 meters, and can be shaped as a bush or a small tree. Flowering continues from July to September.

The variety is vigorous, resistant to summer heat, humidity, as well as dry and calcareous soils. Winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zones 5–8.

Intended for ornamental use in landscape design as a solitaire, for group plantings, or for creating informal hedges.
