Variety description

The plant forms a compact, well-branched, rounded bush 85–120 cm tall and up to 150 cm wide. The large palmate-dissected leaves have a dense leathery texture and coloration ranging from dark green to deep wine-purple, which is most intense in direct sunlight.

The flowers, 20–22 cm in diameter, have a saucer shape and a deep scarlet hue with a dark center. Flowering begins in July and continues until early autumn. Although each flower lasts about one day, the abundant formation of buds ensures a continuous decorative effect for several weeks.

The variety has a winter hardiness zone of 4, withstanding temperature drops down to -30...-34°C. In winter, the aerial part of the plant dies back completely. The crop prefers moist, organic-rich soils and has good disease resistance when growing conditions are met.
