The spring barley variety Ilot is a product of the selection by the Institute of Grain Crops of NAAS of Ukraine. Under the production conditions of the northern steppe of Ukraine, the variety demonstrates early maturity, occurring in mid-July.
The plant is characterized as stable in yield and capable of showing high results when provided with an appropriate agricultural background. The grain of the variety possesses quality characteristics suitable for cereal production.
