The variety is the result of a breeding program to create a hop with an increased concentration of alpha-acids, which ranges from 9–15%. The beta-acid content is in the range of 4.0–6.5%. Genetically, the variety was obtained through the hybridization of the Bor, Fuggle, Northern Brewer, Saaz, and Sládek varieties.

The aroma profile is characterized as intense, spicy-hoppy, with the presence of herbal, citrus, woody, and earthy notes, as well as hints of leather, lavender, and tobacco. The variety is primarily used for bittering, but can be used as a dual-purpose hop for lagers, ales, and IPA, contributing to the stability of the finished product.

The plant is adapted to the conditions of the Czech climate and is oriented toward industrial use. The variety demonstrates good storage characteristics and is aimed at improving productivity within the framework of breeding innovations.
