The variety is a descendant of the Zeus variety. It is classified as late-maturing and high-yielding with a yield in the range of 2700–3100 kg/ha. The cones are medium-sized and have a density ranging from moderate to compact, which may complicate the harvesting process.

The plant possesses resistance to powdery mildew and Verticillium wilt, but is susceptible to downy mildew. The alpha-acid content is 14–18%, and the total essential oil content is 1.6–3.5 ml/100 g. The oil composition is dominated by myrcene, humulene, caryophyllene, and geraniol.

The aromatic profile includes citrus notes of orange and lime, floral, earthy, and spicy shades, as well as nuances of vanilla, berries, and dark fruits. The variety is used in brewing to provide bitterness, and when added late or used for dry hopping, it provides a pronounced aroma in IPA, APA, and stout styles.
