Variety description

The variety is a product of the Hüll Hop Research Center, obtained by crossing Hallertauer Tradition and a male Huell breeding line. The plant has high resistance to diseases, particularly wilt, and good tolerance to stressful climatic conditions.

The alpha-acid content is 2.3–5%, and the cohumulone content is 15–21%. The total essential oil level varies between 0.5–2.1 ml/100 g. The aromatic profile includes notes of strawberry, blackberry, blackcurrant, pear, as well as herbal and pine nuances.

The variety is used as an aroma hop for addition during late stages of the boil or for dry hopping. It is suitable for a wide range of beer styles, including pale lagers, wheat beer, IPA, and APA.
