The variety belongs to the mid-late or late maturity group. The plant forms compact cones of medium or large size, with a yield of approximately 2800–3000 kg/ha. The variety is susceptible to downy mildew and powdery mildew.
The hop possesses a high alpha-acid content in the range of 14–18% and a total oil content of 1.5–4.6 ml/100 g, which includes myrcene, humulene, and caryophyllene. Storage stability is medium, with alpha-acid levels decreasing by 40–50% over six months at a temperature of 20°C.
The variety is used as a bittering hop to create the base of the beer or as an aromatic hop when added late. The aroma features herbal and earthy notes with hints of black pepper, licorice, and citrus. Recommended for use in styles such as IPA, Double IPA, Pale Ale, Stout, and Barleywine.
