The variety was bred under the USDA program by crossing Petham Golding with a USDA 63012 male plant. The variety has a medium maturity period and forms medium-compact cone-shaped cones, providing a yield at the level of 2000–2400 kg/ha.

The plant possesses good resistance to downy mildew, but is susceptible to powdery mildew. The beta-acid content is 3.0–4.0%, oil content varies from 1.0 to 2.7 ml/100 g, with the aroma dominated by resinous, pine, and grapefruit notes with herbal undertones.
