The variety is a seedling of the Czech variety Kazbek. It belongs to the medium-late maturity group, with yields ranging from 1500 to 2000 kg/ha. The plant is characterized by high resistance to drought and downy mildew.

The alpha-acid content is 4.5–7.0%, beta-acids 2.5–4.5%, and the co-humulone share is in the range of 32–40% of the total alpha-acid content. The total oil content is 0.9–1.5 ml/100 g.

The aromatic profile of the variety includes intense fruity and citrus notes with herbal, woody, and floral undertones. The variety is classified as aromatic and is recommended for dry hopping and creating various beer styles.
