The variety belongs to the 'C' series, bred to improve the characteristics of the traditional variety Savinjski Golding while increasing yield. The plant is late-maturing and possesses good storage properties of the harvest.
The essential oil content is approximately 1.5 ml/100 g. The leaves of the variety are resistant to downy mildew, while the cones themselves are susceptible to this disease, and the variety as a whole shows susceptibility to powdery mildew.
