The variety is the result of a breeding program initiated in 2001. The plant is characterized by an alpha-acid content in the range of 5.2–9.0% and beta-acids of 2.4–3.3%. The cohumulone level is 20–25%, and the total oil content varies from 1.1 to 1.6 ml/100 g.

The hop possesses versatile properties and is used to impart mild bitterness and aroma. It is recommended for addition during late hopping or dry hopping and is suitable for saison, lager, pilsner, and pale ale beer styles.
