The variety was obtained during work with original hop populations in the Žatec and Úštěk regions. The plant is characterized by moderately strong growth and forms a cylindrical bush. The bine has a green-red color and a diameter of 9–11 mm; lateral shoots are short or medium in length and are located low.

The growing season of the variety is 122–128 days. Cones have a fine structure and high lupulin content. The chemical composition is characterized by a total resin content of 13–20%, alpha acids of 2.5–4.5%, and beta acids of 4.0–6.0%. The variety is resistant to powdery mildew and has moderate resistance to downy mildew.

The hop is used to provide beer with a fine aroma characteristic of Pilsner-type lagers. Under modern conditions, industrial-scale cultivation of this clone is practically not carried out.
