The Aromat variety is a clone obtained through mass selection, which is close in its characteristics to the Czech variety Saazer (Žatecký). Currently, it is often considered a historical or "old" variety maintained in genetic collections.
The alpha-acid content in the hops is approximately 6.5%. The variety is classified as aromatic and possesses a mild aroma, which determines its use in brewing for beer styles requiring a delicate hop profile.
