Variety description

Dual-purpose variety, which is preferably used in late boiling stages or for dry hopping. The plant received its name due to the characteristic reddish hue of the vine.

Flavor and aroma properties include notes of strawberry, cherry, raspberry, red currant, as well as shades of lime, orange and kumquat with floral and spicy nuances. The chemical composition is characterized by a beta acid content of 3.5–4.6%, cohumulone 24–28% and a total oil content of 1.8–2.2 ml/100 g.
