The Blisk variety is a triploid hybrid obtained by crossing a tetraploid form of the Atlas variety and an unknown Yugoslavian male clone. The plant is characterized by intensive growth and dark green foliage and belongs to the category of mid-season or mid-late varieties.

The hop possesses good natural resistance to downy mildew, however, in a number of regions, its susceptibility to Fusarium, which causes chlorosis and wilting, has been noted. The aromatic profile of the variety includes notes of pine, herbs, hay, wood, and cedar, and the composition of essential oils is rich in myrcene, humulene, caryophyllene, and farnesene.
