The variety is mid-early to mid-late, maturing at the end of August. Plants have a medium-wide cylindrical shape with good growth vigor. It possesses moderate resistance to downy mildew and good characteristics for mechanical harvesting due to its dense, intensely green cones.

The alpha-acid content is 6.5–12.6%, beta-acid content 2.7–5.5%, and cohumulone 22–26%. The proportion of essential oils varies from 0.9 to 1.8 ml/100 g. The aromatic profile includes spicy, herbal, floral, and citrus notes, as well as hints of pine, anise, and tea.

The variety is used in brewing to provide bitterness and aroma in the production of lagers and ales. It possesses high stability, retaining up to 75% of alpha-acids after six months of storage at room temperature.
