Variety description

The variety is a descendant of the German hop Herkules and underwent trials under the experimental number 2010/72/20. The plant possesses increased resistance to diseases and is adapted to the climatic conditions of Germany.

The chemical composition is characterized by an alpha-acid content in the range of 8–14.5%, beta-acid of 3.7–6.6%, and a total oil content from 1.1 to 2.4 ml/100 g. Cohumulone accounts for 40–42% of the alpha-acid.

The aromatic profile of the variety includes notes of grapefruit, blackcurrant, gooseberry, citrus, vanilla, peach, pear, and tropical fruits. The variety is recommended for dry hopping when creating IPA, APA, wheat ales, saisons, and lagers.
