10 August 2026
The plant is a vigorous perennial vine with twining rough shoots reaching 4.5–6 meters in height and 1–3 meters in width. The leaves are large, deeply lobed, serrated, and of a characteristic golden-yellow color, which manifests most brightly when grown in the sun.
Flowering occurs in July–August. Being a female clone, the plant forms yellow-green cones in the autumn. The variety is frost-resistant, suitable for zones 5–8; the aerial part dies back for the winter, and new shoots grow in the spring. The crop is susceptible to powdery mildew, downy mildew, aphids, and spider mites.
