The variety was developed by crossing the German Hallertauer Magnum variety with a wild male plant. It is classified as mid-late, with yields ranging from 1700–2600 kg/ha. Cones are narrow-oval in shape, approximately 36 mm long, with an average weight of 26 g per 100 dry cones.

The alpha-acid content is 11–18.8%, beta-acids are 4–6%, and cohumulone is 28–34%. The essential oil content is in the range of 1.8–3.9 ml/100 g. The aroma features notes of juniper, wild garlic, pear, lemon thyme, as well as floral and citrus undertones.
