The hop variety Eureka! (breeding number 05256) is a late-maturing variety suitable for all stages of hopping. The yield of the variety is 2800–3000 kg/ha. The plant exhibits tolerance to powdery mildew and downy mildew.
The chemical composition of the variety includes 17.0–20.0% alpha-acids, 4.5–6.0% beta-acids, 27–30% cohumulone, and 2.5–4.4 ml/100 g of total oils. The aroma is characterized by pronounced notes of blackcurrant, dark fruits, citrus, pine, and herbaceous undertones.
