Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing the Czech variety Agnus and a male plant of the variety Yeoman. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and medium-sized cones, showing good drought tolerance and moderate resistance to Verticillium wilt.

The biochemical composition includes 11.0–16.0% alpha-acids, 5.0–10.0% beta-acids, 20–29% cohumulone, and 1.5–3.0 ml/100 g total oil content. Yield is approximately 2.72 t/ha.

The variety belongs to the bitter group but is also used as an aroma hop. Recommended for use at various stages of brewing and for dry hopping in the production of lagers, IPA, and pale ales.
