Variety description

The variety is a descendant of Hallertauer Gold and breeding number 76/015/106; its pedigree also includes Hallertau Mittelfrüh and the Saaz variety. The plant has vigorous growth and forms compact, medium-sized cones. It is a mid-early variety that shows good resistance to verticillium wilt, powdery mildew, and downy mildew.

The alpha-acid content is 4.0–7.0%. The yield of the variety reaches 1560–1780 kg/ha. The product has good storage stability, retaining 65–70% of alpha-acids after six months of storage at 20°C. The aromatic profile includes herbal, floral, citrus, woody, and earthy nuances.

Due to its high humulene content, the variety is recommended for use at the end of the boil or for dry hopping. It is widely used in the production of classic European beer styles, such as pilsner, lager, wheat beer, bock, and ales.
