The variety is a "daughter" of the American variety Cascade. It possesses good resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew, as well as tolerance to verticillium wilt and aphids. The yield of the variety varies from 1150 to 1600 kg/ha.

The aromatic profile includes shades of Sauvignon Blanc, passion fruit, mango, grapefruit, lemongrass, gooseberry, and elderberry. The alpha-acid content is 9.0–12.9%, beta-acid content is 4.5–7.0%, and total oil content is 0.8–1.9 ml/100 g. The variety is suitable for kettle and dry hopping.
